16 For God so loved

Basic Information
Sterling is the initial human founder of Cross Allegiance,
though any glory goes to the Lord for any blessing or
challenge that you have received through this channel
and ministry. The desire to start Cross Allegiance came
from a mix of interests and ministry passions, including
evangelism, media, and internet ministry. Sterling has
been heavily involved in various church and parachurch
ministries over the years, including serving as a Teaching
and Evangelism minister, a Youth minister, a counselor
and Bible teacher, a TV show host, a radio DJ, and more.
Sterling is currently searching for a senior pastor
opening at a local church.
He has gone as the "Dancing Preacher" or
his trade name, 'DJ Sterf,' on various statewide missionary
trips, including events with Pulse outreach, inner-city
school districts, church tours, and more. Sterling runs
on the conviction that his very all needs to glorify
the Lord Jesus Christ, including his hobbies (cf. Colossians
3:17, 23). He has spoken at churches and youth events
(both evangelistic performances and general sermons)
over 400 times and at over 80 locations between 2005-2008,
while working to finish his M.Div. degree at Trinity.
He also finished as Valedictorian twice during his time
at NC State University, graduating in both 2004 and
2005.
Interests & Hobbies: Reading/Translating
Scripture, counseling, playing basketball and DDR (Dance
Dance Revolution), going out street evangelizing, programming,
juggling, making people laugh, making videos, writing
poetry and sermons.
Biggest dreams: To finish life having been a
faithful pastor, husband, and father.
Favorite color: Deep violet (Royal purple with
a tiny bit more blue in it).
